‍Derma TR uses Q-Switched technology to deliver extremely short pulses of laser energy directly into targeted pigment or tattoo ink. The pigment absorbs the laser energy, causing larger particles to fragment into much smaller particles. These are then gradually processed by the body's natural clearance mechanisms over the weeks following treatment. Two wavelengths extend the system's treatment capabilities:

‍1064 nm — Deeper Targeting
Penetrates deeper into the skin and is commonly used to target darker tattoo pigments, including black and dark blue inks.
‍532 nm — Superficial Targeting
Targets more superficial pigment and is particularly useful for selected brighter tattoo colours, including red and orange tones.This dual-wavelength approach gives trained practitioners greater flexibility when working with tattoos containing different colours and pigment depths.
